Every year, in the second weekend in July, Rotterdam hosts the North Sea Jazz Festival. The festival has grown to fifteen stages, 1200 artists and about 25,000 visitors a day. The festival is known worldwide for the many music styles it presents.

is known for it's world famous port. The Rotterdam port is the largest in
Europe and the second busiest port in the world. The city is located in the
province of South Holland. The city has a population of around 590,000
people, including the suburbs, and it is part of the Randstad, the 6th
largest metropolitan area in Europe.
Rotterdam is about 50 minutes by train from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
Just hop on the
train to
Rotterdam Centraal Station (Rotterdam Central Train station) where
our main tour starts, right in the hart of the city. Or, if you arrive in
Rotterdam by cruise ship, hop on the tram, metro or get a cab to the Central
Station.

This
